Who We Are ~ The Boys & Girls Club of Maui is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization that operates drop-in service facilities that provide a safe, supportive,
non-judgmental, nurturing and supervised environment where youth ages 9 to 17 years old can be themselves, experience positive role models and learn
the values and skills that promote success. Through the provision of fun activities and Best Practice programs, the Boys & Girls Club of Maui offers
opportunities for young people to develop physically, socially, emotionally and cognitively, and experience achievement, leadership, enjoyment,
friendship and recognition. The Boys & Girls Club of Maui provides a diversified program that increases the likelihood that participants will develop
into responsible and successful people by increasing protective factors and decreasing risk factors associated with adolescent behaviors.
"To inspire and enable all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible
and caring citizens" is the organization's mission and reason for being.
Clubs are safe places...for those who may be left alone after school or on the streets with no guidance. The Boys & Girls Club of Maui exposes youth
to new ideas and skills that prepare them for life. We teach the importance of character that can last a lifetime.
The Boys & Girls Club of Maui has been in the forefront of youth development, working with all youth. The Boys & Girls Club of Maui has actively sought
to enrich the lives of girls and boys by giving them a place for learning and growing, ongoing relationships with caring adult professionals,
life enhancing programs, character developing experiences, hope and opportunity.
Today, thousands of Maui's youth are taking advantage of the programs, activities, and services provided by the Boys & Girls Club of Maui in Hawaii
at these convenient locations:
Central Clubhouse: 100 Kanaloa Avenue, Kahului, Hawaii (Across from War Memorial & Baldwin Highschool)
Outreach Centers at Kahekili Terrace and Maui Waena
Haiku Clubhouse: 2830 Hana Highway, Haiku, Hawaii (Haiku Community Center)
Paukukalo Clubhouse: 657 Kaumualii Street, Wailuku, Hawaii
Upcountry Clubhouse: Makawao, Hawaii (Near Eddie Tam Gym & Kalama Intermediate School)
West Maui Clubhouse: 280 Shaw Street, Lahaina, Hawaii (Near Aquatic Center)
During the school year, transportation is provided from designated schools to our clubhouses. MEO also provides FREE youth transportation year round.
